Here for sale is the most accurate and detailed SRV #1 Strat replica I've ever seen. I have included a picture of the actual #1 for you to compare and contrast. This blows away the Fender Custom Shop John Cruz replica, and every other attempt at a SRV #1 replica I've ever seen. The neck is just as accurate as the body. No detail was overlooked. I have scoured the internet and can't find a more accurate replica anywhere. Here are the specs:Alder body from Wildwood Mfg (same body supplier used by MJT Guitars for their excellent relic work), ~4 lbs.Neck is an Allparts maple with rosewood slab, 10" fretboard radius, heavily aged nitro lacquer coat. Headstock contains faux crack like Stevie's. Accurate cigarette burn and Fender pearloid tuners. Accurate chips and aging to Stevie's. After lots of tinkering trying to best emulate the sound of Stevie's alleged 1959 Fender pickups, I settled on the following combination that I think gets real close:Neck: Fender 57/62Middle: Fender Texas Special RWRP Middle pickupBridge: Fender Highway One Alnico 2 high output bridge pickupI can ship in the display case you see in one of the photos, or in a traditional hardshell guitar case. You choose. Just dipping my toe in the water here to gauge interest. I'm in no rush to sell this beauty. Serious inquiries only please.
