The Fender 75 Amplifier was one of the last point to point wired tube amps made by Fender and was one of three amps that shared the distinction of being the first Fender design to utilize the cascaded gain stage principal to achieve the saturated overdrive tone 1st popularized by Mesa Boogie (the other 2 amps were the Fender "30" and "140").  These are all rare amps and real "sleepers" IMHO they are best described as 1960's Deluxe Reverbs on Steroids!!!This particular amp is especially rare and perhaps "one of a kind" because it is covered in creamy white tolex!!!  I have never seen or heard of anything other than a black tolex Fender 75 so I assume this was either a special store edition or custom order.  In any case, it is unique, beautiful and really projects a vintage vibe. Electronically, this baby is much more of a "boutique" amp being designed by Ed Jahn (just prior to the Rivera era) to compete with the Mesa's and Marshalls of the time. It is in excellent working and cosmetic condition and includes its original footswitch which would cost you at least $150 to replace. This an amazing sounding amp with a plethora of features which all work perfectly.  I purchased this amp as 12" speaker backup to my 1983 Fender Rivera 2x10" speaker Concert amp which I have loved playing through and recording with for over 15 years. Front controls from left to right include: INPUTS 1 and 2,  BRIGHT switch, VOLUME,  TREBLE--PUSH FOR BOOST,  MIDDLE--PUSH FOR BOOST,  BASS--PUSH FOR BOOST, LEAD,  REVERB,  LEAD MASTER,  MASTER,  STANBY,  HIGH--LOWPOWER,  ON AC.  Back from left to right:  SLO-BLO FUSE,  OFF GROUND SWITCH,  8 OHM SPEAKER, EXT.SPKR,  LINE/RECORDING,  EFFECTS IN/OUT,  OUTPUT TUBES MATCHING,  PEDAL RED,  PEDAL PLAIN,  REVERB OUTPUT,  REVERB INPUT,  HUM BALANCE.The amp has a full-size spring reverb, its original tube chart perfectly intact, the 6L6 tubes have clip holders and each of the remaining tubes have individual covers.  Fender clearly spared no expense on this amp in terms of sophisticated design and features.  Bottom line, this is an incredible amp---it can be played at "low" or "high" volumes,  it is a powerful,  loud amp---not as loud as a Twin but significantly louder than a Bandmaster, Concert, Super Reverb and absolutely blows a Deluxe Reverb off the stage. In terms of tone, it can pretty much cover them all---but because of its multiple controls, requires a lot of experimentation to get the most out of this unit. It is also a heavy amp, weighing over 60 pounds.  Local checkout and pickup would be great in South Florida!!!  Please be aware that eBay's shipping quotes are almost always wrong so I require that you wait until I have your shipping address so that I can personally send you a correct invoice---this will save time and avoid delays.I charge you ONLY what I am charged.I will be happy to try to answer any questions and I have 100% positive feedback on both eBay and Reverb so you can bid with confidence.
