This beautiful Steinway L piano was built in 1920, and refurbished in 2000. It does have a crack in the sound board. The Steinway technician said it has not compromised the sound at all. But this is also why I'm selling for so low. That, and I have medical bills that far surpass my income. The action feels very nice and regular. The tone is VERY Steinway: full, deep bass and bright cutting upper register. The cabinet is MUCH prettier than the modern models: more detailed molding and elegant shape. I'm very sad to sell this instrument. Will not consider a cent lower than marked price. I am a professional-level pianist. This piano handles Scriabin, Ravel and Rachmoniniv very well, as well as pop stuff. Responsive action, full tone on a vintage Steinway. This is an excellent instrument, as is. Buyer pays for moving/shipping as I am broke; hence selling my piano.
