This excellent all around bocal is in excellent shape and is considered the best in class. Z designation is for a stiffer german silver base and thinner profile, making the high register easier to play. In terms of condition, it was lightly used by a professional bassoonist for a few years and is in excellent cosmetic and structural condition, but there is a small ding on the side of the bocal.
