Here's The Run Down: This is A Super Cool & Awesome Playing 1986 Gibson Les Paul Studio Standard that is in very good condition over all for its age (see pics). It is in the cosmetic condition shown, so be sure to see all of the pics (see pics). I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge for yourself (see pics). It is mildly road worn, but there are NO signs of repairs or major changes. This guitar is completely original with the exception of the pick guard, pickup rings and jack plate. The originals were becoming fragile and cracking, so I replaced them with Genuine Gibson USA Parts. There are NO breaks or repairs. The finish does have some dings, chips and marks here and there as pictured, but still very respectable. The top actually shows some flame! The hardware does show discoloration and wear as you would expect of a used vintage guitar. All electronics are original with untouched solder joints and operate as they should without issue. All pots properly date 1986. The neck is straight with a working truss rod and plays great from one end of the finger board to the other. There is some minor fret and finger board wear, but plays perfectly as it sits. Also, as you can see, honest play wear has worn though the finish on the back of the neck, but is smooth, feels just fine and plays beautifully.Just a great guitar that was previously loved with the mojo to show it! This 1986 Gibson plays awesome! Although I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking. Freshly set up with '10s The included Original Hard Chainsaw Case is in great usable condition. Cosmetically its extremely nice, but does show signs of use and age. There are no latch or hinge issues andthe interior door is present as well as the exterior Gibson Logo. Everything operates as it should, and has never had, nor does it have any breaks or cracks unless noted above.
