Stanton Moore and Dunnett have collaborated to bring you the Spirit of New Orleans drum, a 4.5″ x 14″ titanium beauty that combines design specifications from today and 40 years ago. It’s one of the only drums out there with single-flanged hoops and tension rod clips, giving you a particular sound and a look that you just don’t see anymore.The titanium shell has the brightness to cut through loud music, with a heightened warmness that makes it ideal for sloppy, thick snare playing like you would find on a New Orleans second line and similar styles of music. If you need more volume, you can easily change the air pressure inside the drum by turning the Dunnett Hypervent on the side. The Spirit of New Orleans also comes equipped with traditional brass tube lugs, a buttery Dunnett R2 throw, a keyless snare wire release, and high carbon steel snares.
