Description Body Type: Solid Series: Standard Satin Brand: Paul Reed Smith Model Year: 2006 Model: Standard Satin 22 & 24 Body Color: Brown Body Material: Mahogany, Maple Country/Region of Manufacture: United States String Configuration: 6 String Dexterity: Right-Handed
This guitar is a 2006 model, PRS Standard 22 with Bird Inlays. It's finished in natural satin mahogany. The standard does not have a maple top, which gives it a very sweet tone, and this one has a stop tail. This guitar has the "Standard" neck shape, which is neither a Wide Thin, nor Wide Fat. It's based on the prototype PRS, and is a very comfortable shape, that I feel is somewhere between the other 2 more common shapes. I believe the pickups in this guitar are McCarty's, and there is a 3-way toggle, a volume, and a tone. There is a push/pull coil tap in the tone knob, which allows for a total of 6 pickup combinations. The only thing on this guitar that isn't original are the strap buttons. Please bid with confidence on this great guitar! Please no shipping outside the USA.... This guitar was $2,000.00+ when new.
