I have for sale a Neumann m149 tube condenser microphone that is in EXCELLENT condition (no nicks, scrapes, or scratches) and comes with the proprietary 8 pin KT-8 cable, N149 power supply, shock mount, dust cover, and wooden box for the microphone. I am the second owner of the microphone, and I worked with the first owner (Robin Wilson, lead singer of the popular rock band The Gin Blossoms) from whom I purchased the microphone from when he shut down Uranus Recordings, his practice studio in Tempe, AZ, where I worked. The microphone was closely cared for while it was in the mic locker at Uranus, and has been even more carefully cared for since it came into my possession. Unfortunately, I just do not use it enough nowadays to justify holding onto it, and as much as I hate to let it go, I must.I have contacted Neumann and, by providing the serial number of the microphone, found out that this particular microphone was built and released in late 1997. I would be happy to forward along the email correspondence containing this information. Please feel free and do not hesitate to message me with any questions at all regarding the microphone. I am happy to share any knowledge I have regarding this magnificent piece of audio recording hardware.
