HistorySupplied brand new by Rosehill Instruments in 2013 and received in part exchange in January 2016 for a Chicago C Trumpet. The previous owner purchased the cornet as an aspiring music college student (for brass band work), but the college do not encourage cornet playing and so we have supplied a C trumpet to complete his study. The instrument remains in excellent condition and has been fully serviced by Rosehill. There are no notable marks or dings, and it has clearly be used with care. The Willson cornets are manufactured in Switzerland; this version is the large bore Celebration 400, characterized by an easy blowing mouth-pipe. It is supplied in silver plate and gold plate trim. Willson produce the same instrument (with 3rd and main tuning slide triggers) which they call a 410. In addition they produce two more (large bore) models - 450/460 which have a more open mouth-pipe. We keep these in stock at our showroom in Beaconsfield. The original Willson hard case is manufactured in Germany. This case remains in good working order, and has less wear and tear than we would normally expect of a 3-year old hard case.
