Up for sale is this nice Ludwig Vistalite Blue acrylic drum set.
Son went to college and pissed away all his savings in the first year and now needs to replenish his account, because mom and dad refuse to support his carefree lifestyle now that he revealed he voted for Hilliary.
Consists of 24 x14 bass drum, 13 x 9 rack tom and 16 x 16 floor tom
Good used but not abused condition.
Serial number are 1914590 for the bass, 1946894 rack tom and 1914551 for the floor tom.
Please look at the pictures carefully for details.
The known faults are as follows.
There are some scratches on top of the bass drum from the tom rubs as shown in the photos.
The first set are not too bad and could possibly be rubbed out with compound and a buffer.
The second set are more significant and will require more effort to remove if so desired.
The floor tom has some stress cracks near the mounting holes on two of the bottom lugs as shown in the photos.
They are the same as when he purchased it so they haven't gotten worse, should be fine for another 30-40 years of playing.
The mufflers on the toms have been replaced with newer Ludwig mufflers (one screw mounting instead of three) as the originals were AWOL when originally purchased.
The bass drum bottom 2 claws and tension rods on the front and back are aftermarket for ease of tuning when the set is setup and were on the drum when purchased
The last known fault is the second L bracket on the bass drum tom mount can't be tightened to support a tom, either the ball end bolt needs to be replaced or Obama rigged.
None of the before mentioned items are deal breakers but noted for full disclosure.
No other cracks, splits or fissures around the lugs which is quite surprising for a 30 plus year old drum which are known for being brittle.

I live and work in the Chicagoland area and can make arrangements for local pick or to meet if so desired..
I will entertain driving a reasonable distance to meet for a small fee as an another option.
Insured shipping to the wining bidder will be $100, if less I will promptly refund, if more I will eat.
The drum will be packed with care and properly protected against the gorillas that inhabit our shipping companies.
