Tom Waghorn’s guitars are renowned the world over for their innovation, quality of construction and attention to detail. This custom built guitar gives the player the classic Gibson tones along with a vast array of musical voices from other guitars due to its incredible versatility. The neck pickup is a Dimarzio PAF Joe. The middle pickup is the Dimarzio True Velvet single coil. The Bridge pickup is the Dimarzio Mojo. The acoustic pickup is the LR Baggs T-bridge with the LR Baggs preamp. The guitar also has a stereo/mono switch. This gives the guitar huge tonal range as all/any of the pickups can be selected at any time with any other pickup(s). Both the humbuckers have coil taps giving a whopping 48 different pickup/tonal combinations!...and that’s before you even start messing about with amp sounds! So this is very much a “guitar for all seasons” The guitar has had studio use only – there is no buckle rash – and the marks that it has are way too small to show up on any pix. The guitar has a Mahogany body, Flame Maple top. Flame Maple back. Flame maple neck & Ebony fingerboard. The machine heads are by Schaller. The guitar has been professionally setup and has flatwound strings on at the moment but the guitar will be fitted and setup with any strings/gauge of the buyers choice before shipping.
