F. Loree B.O9 Professional Oboe
Estimated price for orientation: 585 $
Category: Oboes
Class:
Description Brand: LOREE Skill Level: Professional Model: STANDARD BORE Country/Region of Manufacture: France
Selling from an estate sale. This F. Loree oboe is being sold AS IS! Please ask questions before you bid!BO.9 designation. Key work appears to be tight and responsive. Note the pictures showing the plating / key touch wear. No frozen keys. Pads APPEAR to be in good condition. Tenon corks do not look the greatest but it goes together very smooth and does not wobble and appears tight. Wood grain is tight and clean overall. No chips. A scratch/dig does appear on the back of the bottom of the bottom joint. I DO NOT KNOW HOW IT PLAYS! OR IF IT PLAYS! I've not been very successful at dating this instrument as the BO.9 designation seems somewhat obscure. If anyone has better resources, I welcome the input. Top joint appears to have 3 pins. This typical repair appears to have been very well done as I can barely see the over up. Hard case and Cavallaro included. Both in very good condition. Unless you can come to my location....no trials. Sorry!Pricing to SELL! NO RESERVE!PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING!PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU PLAN ON PURCHASING!
