These gongs have a huge range of overtones with warm tones at low volumes, building to frightening roars when progressively primed. Forte strikes are rewarded by dramatic explosions of coloured oriental sound. The overall pitch could be described as medium. Obviously, for deeper sounds, see Xen gongs of 24", 28", 30" and the deepest Xen gong of all, the 36" Xen Gong. Each gong comes with beater but without stand.
