Please know that Although I have stated the condition of the guitar " as used ," this beautiful guitar was 1 of 3 guitar's which I purchased from a Kentucky collector who was not a guitar player so during his ownership, the guitar was presumably only out of it's original Lifton reissue case to view on few instances, if at all. Following my purchase of the guitar it has only been out of it's case to inspect & picture,tune the guitar,oil the fret board, & test the electronics. Simply put, this guitar remains in as near mint condition as any guitar comes with no visible dings,dents, or signs of normal customary use beyond the Gibson factory original VOS aging to the finish & it's plastic cover plates & metal hardware .This beautiful 1959 Les Paul reissue features an exceptionally highly figured Eastern maple flame top that exhibits tight book-matched side to side flame & Killer " Dead Straight On " looks from it's highly figured maple flame top that's amazing as seen in the outside pics.The guitar weighs 8 lbs. 13 ounces on my digital scale . It has a very comfortable full C shaped neck with small shoulders.This beauty has a distinct grain pattern from the 1st fret to the 22nd fret on it's Medium Dark Brown one-piece Rosewood neck . The neck thickness on this Gibson '59 Les Paul reissue measures .930 at the 1st fret & 1.010 at the 12th.This Custom Bucker pickups are simply Killer sounding making this 2013 Gibson Historic 1959 Les Paul reissue beauty a fantastic looking & sounding combination to add to your arsenal of axe's. An awesome sounding Gibson Custom/Historic 1959 Les Paul reissue that's sound & tone covers all of the bases with smooth action up & down the neck .
The truss rod works perfectly & the neck is arrow straight with no cracks,repairs,or mods.Frets are perfectly clean & the factory original solder connections remain untouched .
