Description 1977 Marshall JMP 4x12 Speaker Cab Marshall are one of the most iconic brands in the music industry, built to the highest quality and becoming extremely collectable in the modern market. There are too many notable users to list! This very cabinet belonged to the band 'Pop Will Eat Itself'. Here is a screenshot featuring the Marshall from Pop Will Eat Itself Live @ The Phoenix Festival (July 16, 1994) You can watch the show here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfX6_Vh9rBk&t=1663s G12M BlackBack Speakers 3 x T1221 - Date: MK21 (The original 1977's)1x T1281 - Date: Hj10x (A replaced 1976)These were the most popular speakers made in the 70's for Marshall stacks and other amps. These produced more midrange than low end or high end, with more upper mids & treble than the pre rola models (pre 1973). Cosmetic Inspection This Marshall has been exclusively toured around the world by 'Pop Will Eat Itself'. It has the hard earned battle scares that just can't be faked! Full of mojo indeed! Please have a close look at the high resolution photographs below, as these form part of our description. Originality In our opinion, the important parts of this amplifier are original (apart from the one replacement 76' speaker). Summary Overall, this is a very rare and collectible amplifier with great provenance. Not only is this sure to increase in value year on year, but also it can be an enjoyed investment. You’re more than welcome to come along and have a play on this, coupled with one of our vintage guitars! Where else but at The Music Locker!
