A Martin guitar has been on my bucket list every since a friend of mine let me play his about twenty years ago. I finally scraped up enough money and bought this HD-28 three years ago from a guy who lives in a small town about an hour from here. He worked at a funeral home there and played it at church. I looked up the serial number and it was made between 2005 and 2006. The action is low and it plays beautifully. Even a novice like me can accent the bass, midrange or treble while softly strumming the strings. You can make it thunder and roar or whisper and sing. If this guitar was a Scotch, it would be a 25 year old bottle and that's the way I have treated it. This is the guitar I play when I want to feel the music. The guitar is in very good condition. There are some light surface scratches, but no major dings or dents. I didn't notice it until I started taking pictures but there are a couple of places on the head where the capo must have been left on by the previous owner. I have always stored the guitar in its original hard shell case and have never used a pick to play it. The case has a few scuffs from when I took it on vacation, but is tight and solid. Father Time has caught up with me and my fingers are beginning to gnarl and stiffen so I have decided to let it go. I'm listing it for well under what I paid for it with the hopes of breaking even, but even if I don't, the enjoyment I've gotten from it is well worth any monitoryloss.  Look closely at the pictures and feel free to ask any questions. FedEx said it would cost about $75.00 to package and ship so that is what shipping will be. If it is less, I will refund the difference. If it is more, then it's my loss. I will ship inside the USA only and I am generally able to ship within 24 hours after payment. I'll enclose a link to the Martin Guitar website for more details on the HD-28.
