GRETSCH USA CUSTOM 5 PIECE DRUM KIT - ROSEWOOD LACQUER

Gretsch USA Custom 5 piece Drum Kit – The factory finish was called Rosewood by Gretsch and looks similar to a cherry lacquer finish in color. I called Gretsch to try to determine the year of manufacture, but they were unable to tell me due to lost serial # records. However, from my research I'm thinking it may be late 80's.
Sizes are: 8” x 10”, 10” x 12”, 12” x 14”, 16” x 16”, 18” x 22” kick drum.
All mounting hardware is included including center bass drum mounted double tom arm, tom arm for 14” hanging tom (see pic), 3 legs for 16” floor tom, and 2 bass drum spurs. There are a few nicks and scratches here and there in the outer finish, and bass drum hoops have some wear and similar nicks on them but overall this kit is in very nice condition. Standing back a few feet the kit just looks stunning.
These drums have that classic and dynamic tone. The shells have the silver painted interior (see pics) that these drums are known for, which is reportedly a part of their signature sound. The original die cast hoops have been replaced with triple flanged hoops on the 14” and 16” toms, but the 10" and 12" toms have their original die cast hoops. Includes the original Gretsch logo resonant bass drum head, a Remo Powerstroke 3 batter bass drum head. All toms heads are Evans EC2 clear which have been used lightly.
