Description

Virus KC Keyboard Studio Kept           A brand new and ever more powerful strain of the Virus was released in 2002 to replace the entire B Series line-up. First up is the flag-ship desktop module, the Virus C. Polyphony is expanded from 24 to 32 voices! Otherwise the synth engine is virtually the same as the B series. Three oscillators, one sub osc., two independent multi-mode filters, two ADSTR envelopes, three LFOs, 16 arpeggiators, 32-band vocoder, five FM synthesis modes and 16 part multitimbrality. The C series offers an expanded mod matrix with 6 source and 9 destination slots, 98 effects, wood side panels, and more! A new 3-band EQ section is available as well as an Undo/Redo function. The operating systems can be easily upgraded via MIDI and there is a free SoundDiver Virus editor/librarian for Windows and MacOS systems available. It has been used by Nine Inch Nails, KMFDM, and Max Graham.      Virus KC The Virus KC, pictured above is the classy keyboard version of the Virus C. It features 61 semi-weighted keys responsive to velocity and aftertouch. It is the ultimate hands on Virus synth! There are also individual and assignable Pitch and Mod wheels. Nice wood panels and a layout that remains faithful to the module's intuitive design. Product Description Planet Ordinary is an unreachable destination on the Starship Access. So many sounds, and each one is limitless with all the knobs right in front of you to tweak as you play.Feature: Amazing. the interface is easy. i learned it in 20 minutes at the music store. i sat down, and just got amazing sounds straight out of the presets and tweaked a little as i played. it practically GAVE me the ideas that i came up with as i played with it. amazing tools, easy interface. Quality: It looks like a well constructed piece of equipment. i've heard good things about access, and i would trust the piece of equipment. it's expensive, but the controls feel solid and not like they're gonna crap out. cosmetically it looks amazing, and if i had the cash, I don't think there's a analog modelling digital synth that can touch it. Value: If I had the money to spend, I'd either buy the KC or the sound module simply for the sounds alone.Manufacturer Support: I've heard good things. they're good about software updates, etc. The Wow Factor: Amazing sounds. wish they could be mine. Swami Digital Reviews: I would take the Virus C over the Snow any day, just for the controls. The Snow has been a pain to use the one time I tried it. And I dunno about the snow being way better the virus c is a ti without 3 wave forms, and a couple mod destinations and less voices, oh yeah ti also has 2 dsp chips while the c has 1 but imo they are both great and anyone at the right price would be a steal
