Their James Hill Signature Model fetches somewhere in the $3,000 region. From The G String website: (Still active although production is not)Located in Halawa Valley, on the island of Oahu, GString Ukuleles continues to build instruments at a high degree of excellence at a competitive price.Our technicians take great pride in their work and endure intensive training in all aspects of the building process. Being a small company gives us an advantage in that our techs must be expert in all aspects of the building process. While each have their own specialties like finishing or pickup installs, they all either know how to build an ukulele from start to finish or is in the process. This not only creates a highly skilled craftsman but builds accountability as well. Sadly, G String appears to have stopped production, possibly forever, of it's legendary instruments. Really sad, and a tremendous loss to the ukulele world.So for now at least, it appears the ONLY G String Ukes available for purchase are the ones in the hands of savvy collectors and players, and most of those will NEVER let theirs go.Here is one that I don't want to sell, but must. I don't have time to play it, and in fact have less than an hour's time on it since new. I bought it as an investment piece, and I now must sell off most of my extensive instrument collection. If you look at my feedback you'll see I have already sold some wonderful guitars and have perfect feedback. My descriptions are always 100% accurate, so bid with confidence!This is an extremely beautiful, like new uke in the rare 6 string Tenor version, in electrifyingly gorgeous Koa wood.You'll NEVER find another this nice! Don't lose this chance!I'll list it at a crazy low "Buy It Now" considering it's beauty and rarity, and I will also enable the "Make Offer" function for those of you who would like to make a FAIR and REALISTIC offer.
