The 9000 XF is here with an Extended Footboard that is 1 inch longer than DW's standard version of the pedal. Other than the longer footboard, it is identical to the standard-length version with all the great new updated features. This stunning pedal incorporates a free-floating rotor-drive system, rotating swivel spring and infinitely adjustable cam are aligned to create a more direct transfer of energy that optimises the stroke for more power and precision. Features Free floating rotor. Infinite cam adjustment. Chain/nylon strap drive adjustment. Floating spring assembly. Delta Plus Multi-Bearing System. Plastic moulded pedal case included. Weight: 10.7lbs. More detail. DW 9000 pedals include the Infinite Adjustable Cam, allowing the pedal to be easily set from Accelerator to Turbo Drive or anywhere in between. The patented 9000 Series Free-Floating Rotor drive system allows the shaft to turn independently of the rotor directing energy from the pedal board straight to the beater. The design also uses friction-reducing ball-bearings to optimise the already incredibly smooth, gravity-defying action. The patented Floating Swivel Spring increases efficiency on the down stroke and return stroke, creating less resistance and an impressively smooth feel. These pedals include a Nylon Strap and can be easilly converted from Chain Drive to Strap Drive. A state-of-the-art ball bearing hinge design is also incorporated, as is the dual adjustable toe clamp. The patented Single Post Casting design on DW`s double pedals provides ease of movement between the pedal and the hi-hat, also allowing the pedals to be played independently or simultaneously.
