This guitar was purchased in1966 and has had the original owner ever since. The owner took the guitar personally to Fender to be refinished. The guitar had been hanging in the front window which caused the original "Candy Apple Red" finish to discolor and fade from being in the direct sunlight. Fender agreed to refinish the guitar under warranty to "Olympic White". The guitar had strap buttons on both cut aways and for some reason the factory did not fill the lower cut away strap button hole button before refinishing.The neck was not refinished, it is still original along with original frets. The front volume control "pot" was replaced a few years ago, other that that, everything is original. This guitar plays and sounds fantastic.
