Antique Vintage 1910 Gibson Style U Harp Guitar Plays Beautiful Excellent Shape 16 String Model Lush Tones Deep Bass Functional Museum Piece The strangest thing about this Gibson U Harp (well to me anyways) is how absolutely beautiful it plays & sounds. Its 110 years old folks and to have such beautiful lush tones and perfect intonation is mind boggling. It really sounds that good. Deep bass and spakly highs! Its very pleasing to ears! I always though these where more of display thing or museum piece or something but its a functioning sounding beautiful work of art! This Gibson U Harp is in great shape for its age. The issues with the guitar are pretty evident from the pictures. You can tell the pick guard has been partially restored and the previous owner mentioned some minor work done on the back of the guitar. You can see there are indications of minor splitting and stuff on the back of the body. Its been professionally repaired & taken care by the good folks at norms rare guitar here in LA, Change strings, set up had a quality once over. Its all set and ready to go. Oh those are probably replaced tuners on there. Its about as good as its going to get for 1910 my friends! It plays well and looks amazing. Rare model. It’s been played normally but mostly been in storage for decades. All relatively light wear. The frets are in excellent condition and everything works. Overall this Gibson U HARP guitar is in great shape. The Gibson U Harp guitar has minor superficial dings, scratches, wear and tear around various parts of the guitar. Typical of a guitar of this age. As with any guitar that’s been sitting in storage it going to need new strings and set up. Please consider this when bidding on my items. Its vintage folks and anything this old could need a minor tune up. No case!Shipping is going to expensive. It has to be crated up and wood boxed to prevent any issue. Pick up is preferred and if you are within 6/8 hours of Los Angeles I will drive this to you (after payment is received of course. Other shipping arrange can be made after the sale. Overseas is ok but check with me first before you buy or bid. Some parts of Europe are not possible.
