For sale is this stunning Taylor SB1-S Solidbody Standard with highly figured maple top. These Taylor solidbodies are extremely underrated guitars! The quilted maple top has been inlayed into the chambered mahogany body, and the one-piece neck is attached to the body with Taylor’s exclusive single-bolt “Scarf” design. Everything on this guitar was designed and made by Taylor, including the all-aluminum stoptail bridge assembly that allows for maximum adjustability and rock-solid intonation. Taylor’s Standard humbuckers are incredibly dynamic, with clarity and string definition that compliment the resonance and tonal character of the guitar. Additionally, the 5-way selector switch allows for a multitude of tonal options (some familiar and some uniquely “Taylor”). The ebony fingerboard has 22 medium jumbo stainless steel frets and a 24-7/8” scale length. This guitar even has a replaceable fuse to keep singers from absorbing a lethal dose of electricity when grabbing a hot mic! Other features include a bone nut, ebony headstock veneer and truss rod cover, pinstripe binding, sleek contouring, and an ultra-premium Taylor hardshell case.
