Like Elpico, they made some small amplifiers to amplify record decks and tape recorders which could be used by guitar players, and the Vibromajor which was a guitar amp. The two-tone grey/blue finish suggests that they were made in the mid-late 1950s and early 1960s at which time most amp manufacturers used similar colour schemes.   Service History  We pride ourselves on the inspection, authentication, and service of each amplifier to UK standards and regulations.  Please note that it is the philosophy of The Music Locker to keep all amplifiers as original as possible, only changing original components when absolutely necessary. This includes valves, capacitors, transformers, potentiometers, etc. This gives the buyer the option of tailoring to their exact needs, and may mean that the amplifier is not operating at optimum performance levels. Therefore, your personal preference may differ, depending on your circumstances (i.e. collector or musician), and you may decide to service the amplifier in more depth upon receiving. The Music Locker cannot accept responsibility for any costs of refurbishment to a standard different to the one advertised.  Cosmetic Inspection  This is in brilliant condition. An absolute beauty! There are a few scuffs to the amps covering but we struggle to find anything worth mentioning. However, please bear in mind this is over 50 years old so will not be in the exact condition it left the factory. Please have a close look at the high resolution photographs below, as these form part of our description. Originality  In our opinion, the important parts of this amplifier are original, with a few internal components changed.  Summary  Overall, this is a very rare and collectible amplifier. Not only is this sure to increase in value year on year, but also it can be an enjoyed investment.  You're more than welcome to come along and have a play on this, coupled with one of our vintage guitars!  Where else but at The Music Locker!  If you click and buy through eBay, please pay (or make contact) with us within 24 hours, in order to let us know your payment plan. We?re happy to accommodate in whatever way we can, as long as we know.  We pride ourselves on our affordable, high quality and safe worldwide shipping. Please see the exact quote for your country. This price includes boxed and secure packaging, insurance for the sale price and full tracking via UPS.   Personal inland delivery is also a possibility so please contact us for more information.  A deal can be done on any item collected as we strive to keep the risk of breakages as low as possible for such delicate beauties.  Please Note - If you're not located within Europe, you may be eligible to pay import duty or tax, of which The Music Locker cannot be held responsible. Please also be aware that each amplifier is serviced to UK regulations and our customers overseas may need to make slight alterations to meet electric requirements, of which The Music Locker cannot accept responsibility for. Please make sure you are aware of this before buying.
