Here it is, the kit you never thought you'd find. Always my "go to" kit, I could play any venue at any volume (properly mic'd of course) with these. Originally purchased from Ray Ayotte at the old Drums Only on Kingsway in Vancouver, BC, Canada, around 1982. This kit can easily be packed around in almost any vehicle. The drums pack into 3 cases, and hardware in 2 soft cases. Here's the sizes, diameter x depth:  18 x 14 Bass drum, 14 x 6 snare, 10 x 6, 12 x 7.5, and 13 x 8.5 concert toms. The hardware on this is a bit of a mix, because this was the end of the L.A. Camco line as they had been bought by Tama, and were no longer producing the original hardware. Some is bright brass, some is antique brass and some is chrome.Included is the original Camco hihat, reliable and compact. A Tama BD pedal has replaced the original. Double tom holders and bass drum  mount are original. A Premier cymbal stand receiver is mounted on the BD. The snare has an interesting story. It began it's life as a 14 x 14 floor tom and was converted to a snare in it's full original size in the Drums Only shop, with a Ludwig snare strainer and a oddly fabricated snare bed opening on the rim. I used it for a couple of recordings, but it wasn't practical as a snare for everyday use. I gave it to a drum builder/woodworker guy, who cut the middle out of the shell and made some kind of lap joint to mate up the top and bottom halves. He re-assembled it and gave it to me for testing, before he was going to do an inlay on the outside of the shell to conceal the joint, and promptly disappeared, never to be heard from again. I've used it this way for over 30 years without complaint. It may not be pretty, but it has that good solid woody Camco "thunk" to it. Comes with it's own hard fiber case. Also included are 3 of the good old Ludwig standard cymbal stands, light and compact, and a Pearl boom type cymbal stand top to use in the Premier receiver. A Tama throne is included. Snare stand is the Premier claw model, tough and reliable. A custom modified Tama stand holds the "floor" tom.The BD comes with a "Toad" hard fiber case, and the 3 toms nest nicely in a padded Ritter soft case. Also included, for the most subtle and snappy snare sound ever is a REMO 14 x 3 piccolo snare. With a fiberskin this drum has the best brush sound I've ever encountered. It can be played from a whisper to a roar, and comes with it's own soft case. This puppy cuts through anything. For a gigging musician, this kit sets up fast, sounds amazing (all hydraulic heads), and is the envy of every drummer that has ever heard and/or seen them. Simply put, this kit has a very BIG sound from a very compact setup. You will love them. But, now I've retired, and it's time to turn these babies over to someone who will appreciate them and enjoy them as much as I have for over 30 years. They don't make 'em like this anymore. Feel free to ask questions, I'll respond as quickly as I can.
