NEW YORK, CIRCA 1860 A fine model "C" Steinway concert grand piano in highly carved Rosewood case. The long case with shapely carved apron sits on four massive carved Rosewood legs with vines and scro lled foot. The serial number is 3076. The piano will come with a satisfactory piano bench from the period.
It appears the foot pedal unit has been replaced, it does not appear to work and can see the clean wood marks on underside where something else was bolted at one time. Sound board appears to be in goo d condition. Case shows sun fading and was re-lacquered at one time. Overall piano should be looked over by a professional, this is an estate fresh Steinway Concert Grand..
