Malcolm Toft MTA 16 channel preamp Here is your opportunity to own a fairly rare and sought after piece of kit. These don't come up for grabs very often. Partly because they didn't make very many but mostly because those that have them hang on to them. I've kept this year's past the point of actually needing it. Having gone from a commercial studio space down to a more modest home setup without the room to track drums or anything requiring that many pres.
I can't justify owning it anymore when I'm only ever using three channels at time! These are essentially the front end of a trident 980 desk and were part of a modular system designed by Malcolm Toft. You could tailor a system out of seperate eqs, preamps etc.
Of course for any DAW based system these are ideal. Each channel has a TON of gain, 20db pad, phase reverse and phantom power.
Inputs via combined XLR/TRS socket and output via balanced jack.
More importantly everything you put through them sounds big, fat and detailed. As I say, a perfect addition to a digital studio where you need more inputs or 'that' sound on the way in. It comes with accompanying power supply with ribbon connector. The one downside is that channel 9 doesn't seem to be working. I'm 100% confident this is easily fixable as everything on these things are discrete electronic components and therefore totally serviceable. I will deliver if possible and if not send very well packed via insured courier. Relisted due to non paying/ non communicative buyer. I expect immediate payment and communications conducted in a timely manner.
