VINTAGE GUITAR GARDEN presents a 1986 USA Custom Built Charvel/Jackson SuperStrat. This Custom Superstrat was built for the guitarist of the USA Metal Band "AGENT STEEL". Built from only the best USA quality parts and painted by an ESP Custom Shop painter, this guitar cost over $2000 in 1986.

Body: 1986 USA Warmoth made - Jackson Soloist Profile Alder Body
Neck: 1979/80 USA Charvel Medium C neck with Strat profiled headstock
Fretboard: EBONY fretboard
Frets: 22 Medium frets
Bridge: 1984/85 Original USA Floyd Rose with tremolo arm
Finish: Custom Purple Graphic front & headstock , metallic blueish purple back (done by an ex-ESP USA Custom Shop Painter)
Pickups: USA Seymour Duncan ZEBRA T4-5 Bridge & SH-2 Neck pickup
Control: USA CTS Pot (1 Volume) & 3 way selector switch
Tuners: German Schaller chrome tuning keys
Weighs 7.6 lbs and comes with a used mint Gator hardcase This one is out of my personal collection which I purchased from the ex-guitarist of the 80's metal band AGENT STEEL. It was custom built for him to the tune of $2000 back in 1986 from Billy at THE GUITAR FACTORY in Florida. Billy (an ex-Charvel employee from the late 70's era Charvel days) has built instruments for many professionals including: Kirk Hammett (Metalica) to Jimmy Buffet. This Superstrat is a Metal Shredders dream guitar. Incredibly well built custom guitar that feels and plays rock solid with low action. Plugged in, she roars to life!The parts Billy used are top notch. He order a USA Warmoth - Jackson Soloist Style Alder body and fitted it with a rare 79/80ish USA Charvel neck he already owned when he worked at Charvel in California. The neck on this guitar is amazing right down to its rare EBONY fretboard. Also comes with its 1984 original USA Floyd Rose, and German Schaller tuners. The guitar was originally painted off-white by Billy. By the mid 90's the owner moved to CA and had an ex ESP Custom Shop Painter repaint it for him in this one-of-a-kind Purple Graphic with a blueish purple metallic back. Fabulous factory paint job quality! He pampered the guitar after that and never left his studio. When I purchased it, I replaced the pickups with a set of USA ZEBRA Seymour Duncan pickups (TB-4 bridge and a SH-2 neck). This guitar is one of the best superstrats I've ever owned. If I was to compare this guitar to anything out there, it plays and feels like a modern USA Charvel San Dimas $2200 plus equivalent. Weighs only 7.6 lbs . Overall condition is a 9.6 on 10 ( a few very light scratches on the back. Will ship is the mint Gator hardcase shown.This is a $2200 plus custom guitar all day long. One of a kind!
