Cool 2000-2001 (cool serial number) Sienna Burst Strat. It is a hot rod American series or something similar (texas/lonestar). Don't remember the exact name of the special edition model. I bought the same model new when they first came out. Bought this one used a couple of years ago. They came stock with a thicker vintage style lacquer, duncan pearly gates plus humbucker, and pearloid pick guard. Everything on this American Strat is factory original to the best of my knowledge. Everything works as it should. As with all the other Strats of this type with the lacquered neck, the lacquer cracks off at some of the frets. Does not effect playability and not noticeable unless you look for it. This guitar is in good condition for it's age. The tuners work fine but "slip into gear" a little. Might just need an adjustment on the end screws of the knobs. There is a little play until the slack is taken up and gears engage but they hold tune as well as expected for factory tuner (very minor issue, barely worth mentioning). Truss rod functions perfectly. This guitar stays in tune very nicely. The cosmetic issues I stated are very minor and will not bother most people. See pic of three small paint chips on back side of guitar behind rear plastic cover along edge. Also notice small ? along frets on finger board (not chips, not scratches, just missing a little finish). Overall very smooth nice back of neck considering age. Not new, but really nice. This guitar is in very good overall condition cosmetically and functionally. I'm picky and have described the guitar accurately. Pots, switches, etc may be scratchy from sitting in the case. Has always been in a climate controlled home.Strings have been on for a couple of years without being played.Nice low playing action. The frets have been professionally leveled and dressed. They can likely be done again before a re-fret. Plays nice.
This is a heavier start. Don't have a scale here to be able to give exact weight, but it is heavy in my opinion.
Please ask any questions before bidding. Please do not bid on this guitar unless you really want it.
