It is an early 1965 ES with the transitional nut width of just over 42mm and 2 x stonking PAT Number pickups with original stereo wiring and original hang tag.Original frets have had little wear and still have plenty of life on them and I am guessing the guitar has spent most of it's life with flat wounds.Superb condition, just a few minor marks and dings here and there plus wear on the gold plating and some wear on the back of the neck - have a look at the pictures and have a drool because this is a pretty nice looking guitar from any angle! It's not often you come across these with so little fade. This one still has the original stereo wiring and is unmolested, as it came from the factory, the only thing I think may have been replaced are the saddles but I am not entirely sure about that.Plays superbly well with a fast and slick, ebony block marker fingerboard and I am sure the new owner will have no quibbles at all about the playability and sound...It has the original hard case which is the typical mid 60's type that the handle always breaks. This one is no exception and it has a replacement handle fitted. The case stays need patching up too but aside from that case is stable and protects the guitar well.A very nice example indeed...!
RARE TO SEE A GUITAR LIKE THIS ON EBAY UK!!!! GRAB IT WHILE YOU CAN.Please have a good look at the 20+ high resolution photos I have posted to fully appreciate the cool condition this great guitar is in
