Here is a MARK IVb Head that was originally modded. It has had the following mods: 1. Built in solo boost that activates with the footswitch. Look next to the output nob on the front... that's the solo boost knob. 2. Custom trim pot for biasing 3. Noise gate on the lead channel 4. Reverb tank has been removed I can give you the contact info for the person who did the mods if you purchase this amp The amp turns on and runs, but the footswitch LED lights and front amp LED lights are both not turning on. The amp produces NO SOUND. Two power tubes had a short and were pulled out so there are no power tubes in the amp right now... but when I throw some in , all the tubes light up except v1
The amp has been taken into my tech and he did an inspection but did not pinpoint the exact problem. Here are the notes from the tech : -output transformer is not mounted properly (only two screws) -aftermarket cooling fan installed -diagnosed and FIXED two 500 ohm resistors that were burned out at tube sockets -tested and found 2 output tubes to be faulty (both were yanked out)
