Nice condition 2008 Gibson Les Paul Standard Faded. This guitar plays and sounds great. Many of these faded LP's are plain tops, this one does have moderate figure. The pics make it look redder than it is, it's a honey burst with 50's neck, but not thick like an Historic. The back is also more of a brown than reddish. Changed parts including Fralin Raw Nickel pickup covers, Aged aluminum tail piece, Gibson Historic pickup rings and Gibson Historic pick guard. Also added small Grover locking tuners and 1960 style volume and tone knobs. The finish coat on these guitars is extremely thin. You can easily make a groove with your fingernail. Consequently the surface of this guitar has many tiny imperfections but I think they add to the used mojo look of the guitar and I think that was Gibson's intent at the time. Back of the neck has almost no finish so it's a smooth player. They age easily. These guitars are also chambered so it is very light at 7 pound 7 ounces. VERY stage friendly weight. Original tail piece, tuners, Original Gibson Hard Shell Case, hang tag, manual and pickup rings included. Doing home renovations and thinning the herd.
