Description
I'm selling my cherished '53 Princeton.. I've had it 5 years and it's one of my favorite amps. It's very similar to the tweed Champ, almost identical actually with maybe a touch more versatility because of the tone knob. I use it for recording or as a practice/lessons amp, it's perfect for both. If you want that vintage Fender tone this is it. It's chimy and bright on the clean side and gritty and nasally a la "Money For Nothing" towards 10-12 o'clock. Sweet little amp. The transformer is original, the caps have been replaced and it's been grounded. It has a Weber Sig. Series alnico from 2010 and it sounds great. It was in there when I bought and I did try a couple other speakers, including a period correct Oxford, no comparison. The Weber sounds like the old speakers should have hands down. I think that's it... I have the cover for it too which is pretty neat, it's the only tweed I've owned that came with one.
