VINTAGE GUITAR GARDEN presents an a USA Charley's San Dimas Style Strat. Custom Built from the World Famous CHARLEY's Guitar Shop in Dallas Texas.Charley's Guitar Shop has been around since 1976 and has built guitars for Stevie Ray Vaughan and Billy Gibbons. This one is #3 of 12 built in 2016. All quality USA parts.
Features of this 2016 Custom San Dimas Style Strat include:
Body: USA Warmoth Light Weight Alder Strat body
Neck: USA Warmoth '57 Strat medium C Profile
Fretboard: Rosewood with strat style headstock and custom logo applied
Frets: 21 Medium frets
Bridge: German made Brass Floyd Rose with tremolo arm
Finish: Nitro Olympic white body & Nitro Amber tinted neck
Pickups: USA Seymour Duncan ZEBRA TB-5 Bridge & USA Dimarzio Injector Neck pickup
Control: USA CTS Pots (1 Volume) , & 3 way USA Switchcraft selector switch
Hardware: Vintage Kluson style tuning keys and Custom Stamped Charley's neck plate

Charlie Wirz opened his doors in 1976 and has built custom guitars for Stevie Ray Vaughan (his famous lipstick white strat) and Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top. Building custom guitars continues to this day with 12 guitars built per year. They also still build the SRV Lipstick model for custom orders at $3400.We just got this one direct from Charley's Shop. Built in 2016, this one is #3 of 12 made and has a great light RELIC look and feel (basically a 9.7 on 10 condition , a couple scratches on front keeps it from being a 10). Only quality parts go into their builds as seen from the impressive list of parts mentioned above. From its Nitrocellulose Laquer Olympic White thin coat over the light weight USA Warmoth Alder body , to its Nitrocellulose Amber tinted USA Warmoth maple neck, to the amazing USA Duncan & Dimazio pickups and the German Brass Floyd Rose, this is a fantastic guitar. In the bridge position you'll get heavy FAT Gibson Les Paul Tones, in the neck position you'll get the spank of a Fender Strat, and its middle switch position sounds close to a Tele. A very versatile axe. Weighs only 7.6 lbs . We will ship is a used black hardcase.This guitar USA parts alone costs $900 .
