Up for consideration is an extremely rare Des Lauriers electric guitar in great cosmetic shape, and all original!!! It is missing the backplate, but everything else is there...The guitar has recently been set up, the neck is straight as an arrow, the action is low, and it plays really nice as well. If you are reading this you know how incredibly rare these are, and how sought after they are for their obscurity...It is in excellent shape cosmetically, with a few small dings, but overall a solid 8/10. There are two really light finish cracks at the neck joint which is always going to be evident on these guitars that are this old, they are just finish cracks, and not through the wood or anything like that... It has a checkerboard nitro paint finish which is really cool, and would had to have been costly for them to have done...Truly one of a kind. They apparently were only in business for a few years making them at the famous Matsumoku factory in Japan. I have several Matsumoku guitars and this definitely has that vibe to it...Really an interesting guitar. If you have any questions please send me a message. These guitars NEVER show up anywhere, and are highly collectible...Not many people are going to be familiar with these, and this will most likely sell internationally, I completely understand that...I have priced this literally for half of which the last one sold for which was around 2009 for 1k...This is an insanely rare guitar, in great shape!
