This is a vintage Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man with the desirable two MN3005 chips. Originally this unit was two prong, but the power cord was replaced with a long, high quality three prong cord for grounding safety. The original footswitch was replaced with a heavy duty true bypass switch, so you keep your original guitar tone when the pedal is turned off. There are heavy duty washers on both sides of the true bypass footswitch, which is a huge durability improvements. Note that the true bypass switch mod disables the power light function, but the OverLoad light works perfectly.This pedal is has a warm, thick, vintage delay sound. You can get tape delay sounds to Edge and Andy Summers sounds to spacey modern tones.
