Here is a beautiful 1981 Gibson Les Paul Standard Gold top. This guitar has two original Tim Shaw pickups and they sound superb. Guitar has been professionally reliced to look like a 50s guitar. The work was done professionally and looks fantastic. No issues with neck. No breaks or cracks. The guitar sounds great up and down the neck. The neck is a standard neck--neither a 60’s thin, nor a 50’s fat.One piece mahogany body on this guitar. She weighs in at about 9 pounds. The Tim Shaw pickups were Gibson's foray into recreating the original 59 pickups, and these sound fantastic. The three piece maple neck provides great clarity. This guitar rings out loud acoustically and it sustains better than any Les Paul I have ever owned. Guitar will be packed professionally and shipped quickly.
