Description
Brand: Epiphone Model: Sheraton-II

This is my beloved Epiphone Sheraton in rare pearl white. I assumed this was an early 1990s, but the Epiphone guitar dater (see pic) says 1999. I didn't think they made any white models past like 1991 or so. I've played this along with my identical twin black Epi Sheraton (that one has Bigsby and Gibson 57 Classics) in my blues band for years. This one mostly was my backup, #2. After a ton of research, I put in GFS Mean 90 P-90 style pickups in it. They're absolutely fantastic. Just a little less output than the Gibson 57's, clear and bright and raunchy when you need that. I was hesitant to put GFS in, but I love them. They're great pickups. Has 50's wiring those fancy orange caps or whatever, I had a guitar repair tech do it. Using volume knobs you can turn down for pristine cleans even with overdrive still on. Beautiful.Volume/Tone knobs are from a vintage Guild Starfire, by the way.Has Bigsby B-70. Changed out stock tuners for Grovers. You'll see a crack along the top of the neck on both sides. It was there when I bought it eight years ago, and it's not gotten any worse, exactly the same as when I bought it. This guitar has SPECTACULARLY low action with almost no buzz. It is a dream to play. I have my Sheratons strung with 11's and they feel like 10's. This guitar is a player's dream. Great tone, great action, great feel, and it's gorgeous pearl white that's just starting to turn to pearl off-white. I don't have the pickguard.  Has a couple nicks on the binding, and the original gold bridge is tarnished some. Comes with nice Epiphone HSC.I'm sad to let this go but I just bought a new #1, a Guild Bluesbird goldtop, and it's my new #1, so the black Sheraton will now move to #2, I just don't need this one. Feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking!
