Up for auction is a 1974 Gibson Les Paul Custom. Cherry Sunburst Finish over a Maple Top with some nice figure, Mahogany Neck, Two Original Patent Number Pickups, Waffle Tuners, ABR-1 bridge, Witch Hat Knobs, and Gold Hardware. This one has the great early features before the Les Paul Custom would undergo some changes in 1975 and 1976. The guitar has been professionally refretted, pickup covers have been taken off, and the finish on the back of the body has been removed by a previous owner. Newer jack and jack plate. 1974 dated pots. No cracks or crack repairs. The guitar displays average play wear with some nick and dings. A great playing Custom that weighs in at 9.7 pounds. Included is the original worn hardshell case. A great looking 1974 Custom at an affordable price. Maryland buyers add 6% sales tax to purchase.
