Please feel free to ask Frankie questions about the performance of this guitar.Frank Hannon says:This is a one of a kind custom made Flying V style guitar handmade by Jake Willoughby and CR ALSIP GUITARS. This stunning guitar is absolutely gorgeous, plays and sounds even more amazing than it looks. The AAA grade Flame maple top is "dish" set into a very thick and resonant mahogany body, and is bound with a unique metallic binding. Jake also designed a brass sustain block under the bridge and tailpiece that really makes this guitar sing special. I used this guitar for several years on tours with TESLA and recorded in the studio with it. I have had it put away for special occasions when I called Jake about this charity involving Nancy's cancer situation. Ironically Jake named his guitar company CR ALSIP after his mother Connie Rae who suffered from cancer and he without hesitation agreed to share in donating this instrument to Nancy's cause. Both Jake and myself wish to raise money for Nancy as well as offer this one of a kind guitar to a special buyer. You will not be disappointed with this guitar. I fell in love with it at the NAMM show years ago and played it a lot on tour for several years. Now it will serve an even better purpose.Thank You,Frank HannonTESLA Nancy Dziedzic says:I’m 51 years old. I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in Sept of 2014. It is a blood cancer that affects your bones and sometimes other organs. I had multiple fractured ribs when I finally went to the ER to find out what was wrong. I went through 5 months of chemo and then had a Stem Cell Transplant in April of 2015. I am in Complete Response now which is as close as you get to remission. Unfortunately my cancer will most likely come back but it may not be for a few years. I do take a low Dose of chemo daily to help prevent that and infusions of a bone strengthening drug monthly. The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) is an amazing organization started by a MM patient. Some of the treatment I have received is a direct result of the research of the MMRF.. The work done by the MMRF is a patient-centered model of collaboration and is speeding up the development of more effective treatments through the FDA. They are bringing about results that are benefiting all types of cancer, not just Multiple Myeloma. 90% of their budget goes directly to research. They have brought 4 new treatments to approval just since I’ve been diagnosed. It’s always been a dream of mine to go to Africa and do a Safari, when I saw the MMRF team climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro last year I knew this was a way I could not only accomplish this dream but also give hope and help to other patients. Keep an eye on my fundraising site if you want to follow my trek up the mountain, I will have a link there so everyone can follow our team.
