Amazing Vintage 60's Ludwig Silver Sparkle 6 Lug Style Snare Drum 603277 with Ludwig Weather Master 2979981 Orchestra Batter & Snare Heads Included: Original Ludwig Snare Drum 603277 Hard Case Two Drum Sticks Adjustable Dum Stand (made in Japan) First Division Band Method Book 1968 Drum Method Band & Orchestra Book 1968 For the age this Set is in Amazing Shape.! With the two beginner books in the case it almost appears this drum was purchased to learn to play and was played lightly then put away and didn't get much use after that. Has been packed and stored away for Years.! The Ludwig drum itself measures approx 5.5" x 14.5". It has the Silver Sparkle with Chrome Bow Tie Lugs and Hoops. The body of the drum appears in Great Condition minimal marks, scuffs are possible No Chips, or Cracks anywhere and the Chrome is shinny with NO Rust, Corrosion, or Pitting noted. Could possibly use a bit of polishing due to being stored away for so many years. Inside of top hoop has something coating it but doesn't appear to affect anything and also appears to comes off if so desired. The drum stand is in Good shape fully adjustable and functioning just as it should. Could also use a little polishing if desired. The hard case is in Good shape for age does show some signs of scuffs and scrapes on it from being moved around, stored and use. All latches work just as they should. The two sticks are useable. The books are in Good shape for age. Both have some minimal writing on inside and the Drum Method Book cover has come unattached. Looking through the books dated 1968 is like a blast from the past seeing the pics that are in them. I am not a drummer so I will say that this drum may require some maintenance, tuning, cleaning, and or other things in order to sound and play right to your discretion. I cannot guarantee the functionality of the Ludwig Weather Master Snare Heads due to age. I can only describe the physical condition to the best of my ability.
