THE PAINTED PLAYER GUITAR CO. THE TPP ERIC CLAPTON "FOOL" SG TRIBUTE SUPREME EDITION ABOUT THE GUITAR... This TPP Eric Clapton "Fool" SG Tribute Supreme Edition has been produced by The Painted Player Guitar Co., using a stunning and heavily modified Gibson USA SG Standard, featuring classic 60's inspired appointments including retro-fitted Maestro Tremolo system and after-market Grover machineheads as per Clapton's original guitar. Based upon the original incarnation of this iconic instrument, Clapton's original SG featured both Maestro tremolo system, natural wood finish neck reverse (for smoother playing) and 'Mauve / Purple' top horn artwork before the guitar was acquired by Todd Rundgren who had the guitar modified to a stop-tailpiece and the top horn and neck artwork refinished. Professionally hand-painted and detailed with incredible vibrancy, this is a collector's piece for the avid fan that plays as good as it looks, complete with FREE Hardcase at the 'Buy It Now' price only.
