1996 Fender Custom Shop Carved Top Stratocaster Electric Guitar.A super rare carved top Strat made while John Suhr, who gained his reuptation by making Mark Knopfler his famed carved top Strat, was a master builder at the Fender Custom Shop.
Plays like a dream. The neck is wide with a medium round profile, just enough to fill up your hands. Has a super quick, tight feel and plays great in every position.Original pickups sound amazing. The neck and middle pickups have that classic strat tone that is warm, round and clear with a spanky attack. The humbucker in the bridge screams, it is thick, crisp and glassy and really makes this a versatile instrument.Excellent condition with some normal signs of honest cosmetic wear. There are a few small dings and minor blemishes around the edges of the body and head stock but overall it is still in great shape with no major repairs or alterations. It is a played but well cared for example.Comes with the original hard shell case and Certificate of Authenticity.Guitar is exactly as pictured.
