Fender E Series Stratocaster Made in Japan from 1986. Black with Rosewood Fingerboard. I am the original owner and have had the guitar from new. I believe that these were originally intended for the domestic Japanese market but a few of them ended up being sold in UK that year. It has a lovely fast D profile neck, 25.5" scale length, and slick rosewood fingerboard with a 12” radius made for speed playing, Alder body, and the Fender "System One" Schaller locking tremolo system is solid, smooth, stable and working perfectly.  As this was Fenders answer to the Kahler and Floyd Rose trems back in the day, it has the same range for pull ups and huge dives if that's your thingThere is a micro tilt adjustment too and a bi flex truss rod. The guitar is all original with no issues, plays perfectly and the neck is true, solid and straight. As it is over 30 years old, it has a bit of wear as you would expect, so there are various scratches, various dings, one small chip about 2mm on the bottom edge, buckle rash on the rear near the trem cover and little dings around the edge of the headstock, but nothing major.  Its hard to show these in pics due to the black colour. The frets have quite a bit of wear as you would expect too, but theres still a good few years on them. Overall considering its just over 30 years old, it still looks great and everything works great and the guitar has been maintained well over the years. It has a lovely big bold and rich classic strat sound, the pickups and electronics I understand from various Strat forum enthusiasts are in fact Fender USA pick ups which were shipped to Japan for these guitars, but I could not say for certain.  The pick ups are superb, the neck pick up has a lovely low end spank to it and the out of phase sounds are excellent.  Sounds far nicer than any Mexican made guitar (which often have ceramic bar pick ups fitted for cost reasons) - It's in a different league altogether tonally and in build quality from Mexcan made instruments being Made in Japan. I will include the flight case in the picture which was also purchased around the same time so the case has some wear too (vinyl is coming loose in places and coming out next to the back hinges but there almost no tears/rips so it can be glued in again if you have the skill to glue it back and there's some sticker residue on the lid)  it is still a solid enough case, the hinges and latches are all working and intact, it still does its job and will at least protect the guitar during shipping and will probably last for a good few years to come.  I will put a small package inside the case which will contain the “pop-in” Tremolo Arm, the two allen keys (one for the locking nut, the other for the bridge saddles/intonation) and the tool for adjusting the collar at the trem arm entry hole, (tightening this collar will control the arm tightness or hold the arm in one position if you don’t like it hanging loose ) This is a lovely example of the very high standard of Fenders that were being produced in Japan at that time.  They were so good that they surpassed everything being made in the USA .  First class Japanese craftsmanship.  I am sure you will agree from the pics, the guitar still looks great for its age.Its just been re-strung with a fresh set of Ernie Ball Super Slinky 009's for its new owner so its ready to rock, and the fingerboard has been cleaned and treated with bore oil so its nice, fast and shiny. I have estimated the shipping to UK mainland at £15.  Shipping to Ireland or remote postcodes may cost more, let me know and I will get a quote. Any questions please feel free to ask.ONCE IT'S GONE, IT'S GONE !!
