Description
Brand: Bach

This is an origial Metropolitan Opera Orchestra Mt Vernon Bach that I aquired in 1993 when performing the Ring Cycle with the Met Orchestra. As seen in the pictures, the serial # is 18852 which I believe was manufactured in 1959. This horn has an adjustable kick slide on the third valve and also on the 1st valve slide. All original parts except for the brace holding the bell to the leadpipe which Chick MacAlexander from the Brass Lab installed. I have the original brace but prefer this as it makes the horn more lively. A presta spit valve was added to the 3rd valve slide I believe the valves which work very fast and smoothly are adorned with mother of pearl finger valve caps. I also am throwing in heavy valve caps as an extra bonus.
