The following old reverb add describes this amp better than I could. Here's a beautiful Da Vinci Custom High Fidelity combo made by Etsey, the company that took over and produced Magnatone amps and a slew of other amps under different names using Magnatone circuits. This particular amp looks to use the same circuit as a Magnatone 413. It features 2x 6V6 power tubes, 2x 12ax7 for the pre amp and phase inversion, a 12au7 for the Vibrato and a 5Y3 tube rectifier (all preamp tubes are vintage Etsey branded.). Speaking of Vibrato, this amp holds the mythical true harmonic pitch-vibrato these Magnatone amps are known for. ------------------------------------------------------This amp is virtually identical to the Tonemaster 214 as used by Phil X in many of his guitar reviews on You Tube. This was of course the template from which the Evil Robot amp was produced. From what I have read the Magnatone Troubadour Model 213 = Tonemaster Model 214.From http://www.magnatoneamps.com/"The 413 is a continuation of the earlier 213A, and an even further continuation of the Troubadour style amp that sold well for Magnatone in the 1950s.""The 213A is an updated 213 with a 5Y3GT rectifier tube instead of a 5V4.In 1961, the 213 circuit became the 413, and with reverb it became the 440. The Lo Duca 213R Twilighter is actually closer to a 440 than it is to a 213." From magnatoneamps.comAmp is in remarkable condition for its 50 plus years and functions as it is meant to. The pitch vibrato is amazing in these things and no words can adequately describe it - needs to be heard. This is a very rare find in Australia so don't let this oportunity to purchase pass you by. Makes for a great home or studio amp or could be gigged with if hooked up to a PA.Please note that this is 110v amp and will need a stepdown transformer to operate on Australian 240v.Am happy to pack the amp for pickup by courier arranged and paid for by purchaser.Amp will ship from 5062. Approx packed weight and dimensions are 16 kg 61 x 53 x 36cm
