A rare instrument pairing wavetable synthesis with an analog 4-pole 24db/octave low pass filter. Often referred to as a "PPG in rack format". This synth is in excellent condition, has never been "on the road" (aside from moving from Germany to Australia), and works without any problems. Also included are two signature series soundcards with 64 patches each, engineered by Dave Gould and Rob Papen. These soundcards really showcase the Microwave's potential as a bass and lead synthesiser, and go well beyond the characteristic PPG bell sounds and evolving patches. This synth delivers an enormous punch in terms of raw volume at all of its outputs and has an incredible sound despite its lack of internal effects.This is the Waldorf Microwave Revision B version, i.e. it uses a 24 step rotary encode, has the green on black LCD (see original picture), and has the Curtis CEM3387 signal processor.I will also transfer a copy of the excellent editor "MonstrumWave" after the synth has been received by the buyer. MonstrumWave will let you edit all parameters of the Microwave in a very nice GUI and it is possible to run it both as stand-alone editor and a VST (and with some additional software also as an AU component within Logic Pro X). The original Euro power plug has been replaced with an Australian wall plug.
