The 490R neck and 498T bridge pickups with Alnico II magnets provide traditional humbucker tone with enhanced highs. The arrival of the Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar in 1983 offered guitarists all the essential elements of a Les Paul Standard, including a carved top and humbucking pickups. The simple elegant design quickly made it the most popular model in the Gibson Les Paul Guitar Series. FEATURES Carved maple top with faded finish, mahogany back Mahogany neck Rosewood fingerboard Tune-O-Matic/stopbar Chrome hardware 490R Alnico magnet humbucker 498T Alnico magnet humbucker 2 volume, 2 tone, 3-way switch controls Black speed knob. Ive owned this guitar since 2008 and has played just as well since. It does have some buckle rash on the back and a few chips. this is an all around amazing guitar with that amazing Gibson lp tone. Have to let it go. Just got a Gibson lp standard and barely play it anymore. Looking to upgrade my amp. Comes with Gibson hard shell case. No international orders.
