1937 SUPER RARE VINTAGE PARLOR GUITAR, RICHTER, STENCILED HARMONY BUILT IN CHICAGO, FIGURED MAPLE FAUX FINISH, ARCHED TOP AND BACK AWESOME AND VERY RARE !!!
This is a very cool old guitar, built in Chicago in 1937. Built by Harmony, Richter may have built some guitars but I seriously doubt they built this one, it is just like other harmony arch tops I have seen. It is in good condition overall, it would be a wonderful display guitar. The action is somewhat high, can be adjusted with the saddle. It has some minor finish scratches. Has a nice set of vintage tuners, likely original, the bridge looks to be original . The body is likely Birch and the fingerboard may possibly be pearwood stained, if my memory is correct. This has a Long scale fretboard at almost 26" and the nut width is 1 3/4" + I have this in my office and I look at it every day this is and awesome guitar.
These are super cool and very rare and even more rare with the Richter label on the neck block, they often fetch a premium price, this one is priced to sell.
