This is a beautiful vintage 1927 Conn Chu Berry tenor saxophone. Serial number is M203XXX.  This sax is a relaquer and very clearly so. It was most likely done over thirty or forty years ago and has been well taken care of and kept in incredible condition since. It shows no dents or dings.  There is no evidence of past repairs that I can see. The neck shows no evidence of any pull down. This sax has all of its' original pearls and rollers and the rolled tone holes look perfect. This really is an absolutely beautiful saxophone in amazing condition for a sax of any age but especially amazing considering this horn is around 90 years old.  She is playing very well now from bottom to top.  The pads are on the older side but they are all sealing and definitely have a little bit of life in them yet. The pads are brown leather with rivets.  The actions feels great. As always, you may want to have this horn adjusted and set up to your liking by you or your tech upon arrival. The sound is amazing on these Chu Berry tenors. This sax has the huge, soulful and legendary sound these horns are known for. The ergonomics might not match up to other horns, but this sound is second to none.  These horns are very highly sought after and for good reason. I believe the case with it is original but I am not 100% sure. Everything about it looks right for the time period and the case is in decent, usable condition.  She will be packed very well and ships with insurance. Please message me with any questions.  Thanks!
